Portal Maker began as the tongue-in-cheek job title Will Tallent coined for a bio—the domain was cheap, so it stuck (at least until he can buy the domain for his own name).

Will Tallent is an interactive artist and experience designer based in Austin, Texas. Working at the intersection of technology, environment, and human perception, his practice spans immersive and interactive installations, real-time projection and audio-reactive systems, 3D/visual art, music composition, sound design, and virtual experiences.

He has contributed to high-profile projects for Warner Brothers, Meta, Adidas, and Broadway, and has exhibited/performed at the Museum of Human Achievement, Fusebox, Empire Control Room, Radio EAST, Chess Club (Austin), The Bowery Ballroom (New York), and Ars Electronica (Austria).
